Syncline Creek

Snow quality varied. South and West aspects appeared sun crusted with shallow snow pack. Travel in steep trees was difficult. The East slope we skied and tested had substantially deeper snow pack with 25cm of storm snow that failed easily as loose/dry. Full snowpack at test site measured 3 meters. We suspect the majority of this new snow was mostly wind deposit transported slowly and evenly as not to form a slab as of yet but was stiffening in open pockets. Ski quality in these areas was excellent. We did not observed any avalanches.
