Crowfoot Mountain

Made the summit of Crowfoot Mountain (and little crowfoot). Some fresh snow (about 10cm) made ski quality good. Seems that the snowfall was isolated a bit - since there was no fresh until about 6km in. I brought ski crampons but did not use them. The Bow Hut approach canyon is in fantastic shape. It was a super fast exit. No signs of instabilities noted during our day, saw a few recent loose dry slides out of steep areas but nothing major. A little bit surprised by the considerable rating during this day, seems that it snowed more in the western part of the forecast area. Weather and ski quality better than expected, a nice day out!

Quite clear for most of the day. Warm in the sun. Light wind.
