Good rising found on Ochre Springs Peak. Wind prominent and moderate at ridge line and summit, with a noticeable windchill. -28 in the AM, -14 returning to the car. Upper avy slopes were wind affected transitioning to beautiful powder and just enough coverage to work through the alders without difficulty. Some large glide cracks noted skiers right of the main avalanche path.
