Avalanche

2 very large avalanches evident looking from Hwy 40 descending Berthoud Pass towards Henderson Mine road. I think I have the map location correct. Two very large crowns were bright and sharp in appearance at around 5pm. They were extensive, and possibly connected as a single avalanche, but terrain prevented a full view. Eye was drawn to the location by a powder cloud down in the main drainage (just upstream from upper Urad Dam), right at the bottom of the side canyon containing these crown lines. This cloud could have been windblown snow from the trees, but saw no other evidence of that occurring at the time, so possibly was a powder cloud from that/those avalanches.
