Snowpack

On a southeast aspect near treeline I found an Hs of around 140cm. The upper 5cm of the snowpack was wet, and the 5cm below that was moist. The snowpack below this was dry to moist to the ground. The upper 30cm of the snowpack consists of melt forms. This sits on rounding facets and rounding depth hoar, with an ice layer at about 55cm from the ground. I found percolation columns from the surface down to this ice layer. I had non-propogating ECT results on melt form/rounding facet interface.
