Snowpack

SW Aspect, 8970', slope angle 25° 15cm Ski Penetration, 20cm Foot Penetration. 85 cm height of snow pack (rough estimate on the talus field) Prominent dust layer observed 17 cm below snow surface. Dust layer sitting on Knife hard 5 cm thick crust. Below the crust frozen percolation tubes observed down to around 20 cm. CT10 resistant planer on the new/old snow interface.
