Another 15cm new snow overnight (Dec 10). Little to no wind. Storm snow settling rapidly(ski penetration went from 50cm to 25cm) and skiing well. We dug in search of the surface hoar that developed last week and found it down 120cm on a wind loaded, north facing feature at 1300m. Total height of snow here was 185cm. Extended column test produced hard (23) ECTP. I believe isolated to sheltered, north facing features but something to keep in mind going forward. Happy sliding.
