Low visibility, calm winds, minimal precip.

Snowpack

A few collapses climbing south aspect. Walked top of steep convex rollover on north and saw subtle cracking. Skied lots of north facing terrain - snow seemed more solid than that seen towards Buff Pass - no clean breaks in hand sheers and mostly right side up snowpack except for weak base and small soft mid layer. Didn't see as much evidence of buried surface hoar layers. Surface hoar growing on old surface in meadows but not as pronounced elsewhere.

Avalanche

Poor visibility but traveled by lots of steep north facing avalanche terrain and did not see evidence of recent slides.
