Snowpack

On a southeast aspect in Middle Cameron Chute below treeline, the upper 15cm of the snowpack was wet, and the rest of the snowpack was moist to the ground. The snowpack consisted entirely of melt forms, with ice columns present in the mid-pack. See snowpit profile for more detail. I did not travel on other aspects or at higher elevations, but windshield observations suggest that the snow is still remaining cold above treeline on east to north to west aspects.
