8-10 inched new snow on 1/30. L-M winds SW. Below freezing temps.
Snowpack
Solar aspects has supportive crusts below the new snow. Some small wumphs were noted in S facing Bowls BTL. Snowpit tests showed a very weak base of depth hoar and facets. Average snow depth was 1m deep. Sudden results from CT tests and full propogation from moderate scores were widespread about 50-60cm down. Did not ski any terrain over 30 degrees. Old avalanches were noted on NE aspects of Resolution Peak, NTL. They were right next to ski tracks and likely remote triggered by skiers.
