Weather

Obscured sky during afternoon tour. Snowfall rates around S2 and was fairly warm, heavy snow since temps were just below freezing. Light WSW winds with Moderate gusts were moving some of the snow around

Snowpack

Upper 4" of storm snow was failing easily on ski cuts in small test slopes around 35 degrees. Localized shooting cracks were abundant. Mid-storm instability driven by slightly warmer snow falling on top of slightly colder snow from over night.
