Snowy day. Pulses of up to S3, mostly S1-2. No breaks in precipitation.

Snowpack

Weak snowpack with a developing slab. The 12/23 storm came in with rain which left a prominent crust below the Christmas storm snow. ECT's propagated in November weak layers, with easier scores in shallower areas, and higher scores where the slabs were deeper and stronger. Around 9000' we found HS ~120cm, with about 4" of swe in the slab above the facets.

Avalanche

No recent avalanche observed. One old avalanche, possibly from the Christmas Storm that crossed Spring Creek Road from a northerly-facing path. The debris we covered in several feet of snow, so unsure about event details.
