Headed out North of Round Prairie staging area on skis today to look for surface hoar in some below treeline open areas. We didn't find any, nor did we find good skiing. The day was very windy with gusts coming from various directions, but mainly SW. Ridge tops had lots of snow blowing off them all day. Had a trace of new snow but nothing to write home about. Pray for snow!
