Approx Time: 1:54pm Clear skies. Temps in mid 40's. Increasing winds. Heavy winds loads W to NE

40" and above in drifts. Faceted snow covered by wind crust.

Avalanche

NE Peak of UNKNOWN. I am not familiar with the names of the peaks here but tue avalanche occurred in a peak due north of the old Geneva Silver Mine. I am camping and xc sking in my four season camper off Guanella Pass at Cowboy Gulch. No cell serviceon the mountain but my cell number is 303-638-5920. Weekends have a relatively high traffic BC ski/boarding traffic. Much higher than normal.
