Upper Currant Creek Basin was relatively stable with no cracking.or whomping. No new avalanches observed above in the steep chutes coming off of the divide.& older crowns were filled in. 8 to 10 inch penetrtion down to the slab layer while skinning. Skied low angle trees anout 20 degrees and on almost every turn felt the slab collapse under the pressure of the ski turn..
