Snowing S-1 upon arrival and obscured skies changing to intermittent flurries and broken skies by 2pm. Winds generally light out of the WNW with ridge winds moderate gusting the 30 only in the saddle.

Snowpack

HS 2-40cm above treeline. 5-20cm windslab over 2-3mm facets. Slab was inconsistent and not supportable to ski traffic in most places. Only at ridgeline is windslab well developed and supportable and only is isolated locations. Lots of whumpfing where the snowpack is almost supportable.
