Weather
Clear, blue skies with occasional cirrcocumulus clouds approaching from the SW. No recent snowfall noticed. Temperatures around 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit. 20-30 mph winds from the SW. NE Aspect. 11,550ft Elevation.
Snowpack
Snowpack has been topped off with a light coating (2-4 inches) of snow that has been wind-drifted. Top layer of snow melting slowly as temperatures warmed throughout the day. Noticeable cracking and unstable conditions on NE aspect when ascending near "The Gash".
Avalanche
Avalanche likely occurred within the last day or two, on either 5/23/2019 or 5/24/2019. A second avalanche slid to the right of the gully or The Gash, most likely at the same time/date. I noticed ski tracks that entered the top left of the gash, with skin tracks approaching the left side. The slide within the gully traveled roughly 400 feet from the crown. Therefore, I did a beacon search to insure no one was caught/buried; I did not pick up a transmitting beacon signal from the two slides. D1.5 R2
