Weather

Clear, intermittent clouds. SW to W facing, 12,300 ft.

Snowpack

~6 inches of new snow on top of thick crust layer. Many whumpfs heard on approach. I highlight concerns I found in video. Hope it's useful!

Avalanche

Observed several natures. Some looked to have been recent cornice fall. Main one was one that looked like either a soft slab or failed on crust layer in W Couloir of Mt. Democrat.
