Weather

Mostly cloudy. When sun did pop out, snow surface rapidly became sticky. Otherwise chilly temps through tour.

Snowpack

South and north slopes held 6" of new snow, areas had drifted to 12". Small wind slabs were easy to trigger, however brief periods of sun were having a rapid effect on settlement. Snow quickly became heavy. A atout and supprtive to skis 5cm melt freeze crust coul dbe found on all aspects approx 15cm below the surface. 1mm rounds were dry beneath this crust. 20cm snow temp was -1C.

These avalanches likely ran in early March.
