Mostly clear until some clouds rolled in during the afternoon.

Avalanche

Observed what appears to be a skier triggered avalanche on a NTL, ENE aspect from yesterday, 2/6/18. Soft slab, R1, D1.5? The crown looked to be around a foot tall. My guess is it failed on the reactive facet layer I found yesterday on a nearby slope, 5-10cm below the new/old snow interface.
