17"/1.2" HN/W at the highway study plot. Cloudy skies, light snow, and light SW winds all day. 2" additional at 1330.
Snowpack
Observed collapsing was moderate and isolated. Observed cracking was very isolated and minor. A triggered D1.5 avalanche was observed on a WNW aspect below TL failing on the advanced mid-pack facets we've been tracking.
Avalanche
Observed natural avalanche activity was limited to D1 or smaller slabs and DL along the highway corridor. Obscured sky conditions prevented observation in known avalanche terrain.
