Weather

Balmy! very mild temperatures, but strong SW winds above treeline on Red 3, Putney and Senator Beck, Trico Peak. Reasonable transport onto NE facing slopes.

Snowpack

Tromped around rolling terrain with some steep, low consequence slopes with avalanche course. Observed and felt several large collapses and shooting cracks up to 50-60ft away on 10-28º terrain, sometimes multiple collapses in same location. Seemed isolated to shadier tilts that hold the large grained facets and depth hoar.

Avalanche

numerous old avalanches from 1 week ago. impressive little cycle!
