Warm temperatures with low clouds and southerly winds increasing during the afternoon as the next storm moved in

Warm temperatures on the 13th created crusts on S,E, and W aspects stretching towards tree line. The holiday storm slab has continued to settle and become increasingly less reactive and hard to impact in tests. I continue to find a faceted temperature crust about 55cm below the surface, which produces planar failures but mixed results in Extended Column tests. This layer will bear monitoring as the next big storm arrives
