Weather

Snowed intermittently throughout the day with little accumulation (~2-3cm). Moderate winds from the SW with snow transport onto N-E-SE aspects NTL and ATL. Evidence of previous wind scouring on S and E aspects ATL. Mostly overcast all day with occasional sun shining through the clouds.

Snowpack

Snow depth ~130cm BTL and NTL. Dug a snow profile on a SE aspect around 11,400 ft. HS was 92cm. Upper pack consisted of fist hard snow over stiff mid-pack (1F-P). Basal facets make up the lower pack (~20cm) which produced sudden CT results and propagation with ECT. Nearby, CTX results were observed in a deeper snowpack 130-150cm, but this is potentially due to a deeper interface and overlying stiff slab (P hardness).
