Skied Vantage ridge. Decent skiing in haevy snow at 1900m. Deteriorating below that. Lots of burried debris. Intermittent moderate snowfall with no wind. Top 15cm seemed to be slabbing up and we could occasionally release small slabs. Dug a pit at 1900m on W aspect. ECT Test: Top 15 cm failed at 5 taps from the shoulder. No propagation. Resistance planar fracture character. Snow hardness: Top 15 cm: fist Next 30cm: rain crusts with finger hardness with facets interspersed Below: 4 fingers Snow depth 320cm
