Day 3 AST2 Hasler Leeward terrain below cornices on supported terrain (sunshine bowl) had size 1 releases. Major sluffs below cornices on Aluminum bowl on unsupported terrain (cliffs). Super deep- awesome riding below treeline Dug a pit at treeline on east facing slope protected from wind. CTVE down 15cm on windslab CTM12 down 27cm on secondary windslab CTM20 down 50 on Surface Hoar We used micro terrain features not isolate and trigger wind slabs and were able to create small fractures and cracks down 20-30cm on the HST/windslab Suspect that conditions for windslabs will worsen overnight much like the avalanche hazard is listed online at Avalanche.ca
