Snowpack

Observations were confined to below treeline on southwest through northwest through north aspects. Recent warm temperatures and sunny skies over the past 3 days followed by today's overcast skies and cold temperatures have created supportable melt-freeze crusts on southwest through northwest aspects. The snowpack has settled considerably and is slowly showing signs of increased stability, but deep weaknesses still exist and I would expect it to remain a problem into the future.
