Snowpack
N facing very wintery. Mid pack seems to be mostly bridged over lower pack. Still scary. S facing seems to be corn on top, but further investigation yields a crust-sandwich of a snowpack. Q1 shears about 30cm into the snowpack on a melt freeze crust, with near crust faceting above the crust. This was the problem layer on S facing. natural avalanches did not step below this.
