Avalanche

Observed a Wet Slab(!) avalanche in Mineral Basin, SSE aspect. Looked like a Wet Loose trickled down out of the rocks triggering a Wet Slab below. Estimated Dimensions: 3-4'x80'x60'. Rare to see this avalanche problem in Feb, but makes since given the thick slab formed during Jan/Feb NW winds resting over crust/facet combos on the solar aspects. Perhaps by today there's finally been enough free water percolating down to the PWL. Looks like it's time to be wary of steep warmed slopes in the afternoon hours on these tropical days we're having.
