Overcast skies, no precip, light SSW wind and no blowing snow.
Snowpack
On the SSE near tree line slope, we observed an HS of 60cm with strong 1F and 4F layers over a fist hard layer of 1-2mm facets down 40cm (above a knife hard crust) with repeatable SC results in CT tests. On the E facing near tree line slope, we observed an HS of 35cm with stronger 4F layers over fist hard layers of facets and depth hoar down 20cm with repeatable SC results in CT tests.
