Weather

Didn't feel as cold as thermometer said it was. Sun intermittently popping through clouds helped. SW winds picked up to gusting 50mph as we left ridge.

Snowpack

Snowpack depth ranged form less than a meter in west (windward) slopes to 170cm on east slopes near treeline. Light to moderate snow transport was observed through the morning, however only 4-6" drifts were found on lee slopes. No cracking or wind slab development was observed.
