Weather

calm winds transitioning to light with no transport of snow warm around freezing. at around 11AM S-1 snowfall commenced as we left the area.

Snowpack

Snow course: 7.4 inches of water Depth over 15 points on 775 foot transect: 12 to 36 inches Density of snow: 26% dust found 2 inches below surface. melt/freeze crusts 6 inches below surface faceted grains found in each sample, but unsure of the depth in the profile.
