Weather

Skies continued to clear during the day. Temps were much cooler than they have been over the past few days. Wind were strong out of the WSW whipping snow off high mountain peaks.

Snowpack

3 inches of new snow fell overnight. On S and SW aspect the new snow fell on a very firm surface. The new snow was not well bonded to the surface but any movement in the new snow is was non-consequential. Intense wind-loading out of the W and SW was observed during different times of the day. Mild temps by the end of the day in Valleys.
