On an east aspect near/below tl. ~18" of newer snow on top of an old surface crust with older slab below that. Some sintered basal facets. Milder temperatures seem to have helped settle the snowpack a bit after Saturday's intense snow and wind. Reactive cornices along ridgelines. Suspect there are some pretty nastly slabs waiting for a trigger in exposed alpine terrain. This area received less snow than areas to the east in the last storm, as well as all season...
