Weather
Calm, warm, and sunny day. Very little moving snow and even then confined to ridgelines above treeline.
Snowpack
Storm snow from this weeks snow settled very rapidly, even on high elevation northely slopes. The snow was moist to wet by afternoon, even on northerly aspects. Below that was the older dusty melt freeze crust, which was supportable nearly everywhere near and above treeline, and becoming punchy below treeline. Midpack is stiff slabs, and the depth hoar is finally showing some signs of rounding out on the shadier higher elevation slopes.
