Snowpack

The snowpack in this area was largely windpacked and sheared slightly in places but not enough to cause concern. It also had light dusting of faceted snow on top. The shallow depth of the snowpack--I didn't have to dig more than a couple of feet to hit rocks--would likely mean an avalanche (triggered there) would run to bare ground.
