Weather

Weather was quite gusty, but not much snow coming down. Very Cold, lots of snow transport and moderate loading (it was almost too fast to load quickly).

Snowpack

We dug a pit 1.5 meters in depth on a 32 degree slope. We found two weak layers, one at a meter and one at 115 cm down. We did a ECT with a result of ECTN24 on the first weak layer, however we didn't have cord so might not have been able to properly isolate the column. We then did a CT which failed at 4 taps 115 cm down, with a clean shear plane. The snowpack seemed well bonded through the mid-pack with the exception of the two week layers in close proximity to one another.
