Weather

Snowed all morning and early afternoon, with some intense little bursts. Strong W winds were transporting quite a bit of snow. Temps in the mid-teens.

Snowpack

~9" new in the morning, with another ~2" during the day. Lots of blowing snow. Expect drifts >= 2ft thick. Near surface faces on shadier slopes, crusts on sunny slopes.

Avalanche

Several small sluffs off of steep banks. Just the new snow.
