Weather

Wx: Mostly cloudy skies, light snow and wind switching directions all over the compass down low. On top of Red Lady, the wind was coming very strong from the north and was transporting snow into the bowl.

Snowpack

Partner kicked a cornice off at the top - located on skier's left of the bowl. A windslab broke right below ridgeline, about 30 feet wide, but did not slide nor propagate any further.. The fractured windslab looked like a spiderweb. We skied the right side with no instabilities observed. New snow of 4 - 6 inches was on a supportive crust.
