Snowpack
We dug several profiles on undisturbed W to SW aspects at and above treeline. Recently formed shallow windslabs (<3"), wind crusts, and meltfreeze crusts are very reactive in stability tests. Most propagated on column isolation (sudden collapse, Q1), on underlying facet layers. Below these surface layers, the snowpack is very weak and faceted (fist to four finger minus), but showing signs of sintering. We did not see clean shears or propagation potential (in ECTs/ PSTs/ CTs) in the more advanced faceting near the ground with the current load.
