Snowpack
Snow depths and coverage looked fairly uniform across the flight path. The recent wind, scoured exposed ridgelines and high alpine areas. Loaded lee slopes and gullies looked the deepest. It was in these areas where the most recent avalanche activity was noted. The snowpack appeared slightly deeper near Ouray, Cimarron's, Uncompahgre and Red Mountain Pass. There appeared to be lesser amounts near Ophir and Telluride.
