Snowpack

Northwest through east aspects, HS averaged 50cm. Upper 15 cm of snowpack contained surface hoar and low density, small surface facets. Midpack of rounds and small facets from Nov 9-11 storm. Mid pack was supportive to travel on with skis or snowshoes. Lower snowpack was a mix of depth hoar and old MF crusts. Variable snowpack depths on southerly aspects with and average HS around 10-15cm. Found a mostly continuous snowpack on the south aspects in all but the steepest terrain.
