Weather

Felt warm for mid-January. Temperatures were measured near and above freezing. Sky: Overcast, High thin cloud cover Light Wind

Snowpack

Near treeline we dug many profiles on west through north through east. Most profiles had noticeable persistant layer change at 40cm above ground. HS was ranging towards 100cm. Several large column propogation failures with hard results. Widespread surface hoar observed ranging from 7mm-20mm on east and north aspects.
