Snowpack
I dug a hasty to the ground at 12300' n found HS +/- 100 cm. Within the snowpack I noted two issues described in the advisories over the last 10 days. dust layer at 50 cm and 6 cm of DH between the ground and the rest of the snow pack. The dust layer seemed to be densest/ wettest portion of the snow pack, and the bottom 6 cm the least dense. Surface conditions were variable. I also noted heavy melt freeze layers above 12600.
