Skies overcast to broken with a snow flurry or two. Skies became clear by noon. Calm in AM, light northerly winds in late morning.

Snowpack

Snowpack near treeline on north and east aspects- 2-3" of recent snow over hard wind-drifted snow (supportable to skis). Below the hard slab is very weak faceted snow. Facets continue to the ground. Weakest snow is directly below the hard slab and at the ground. Below treeline the snowpack is almost all faceted, except for the newest snow, and thin. Snowpack is becoming unsupportable to skis below treeline. I had one collapse on a southwest, low angle, aspect near Gold Hill.
