Snowpack
The pole is extended to 110cm (43"). The majority of this snow was made up of a dense layer (20-35") deposited by last week's storm by light-mod E then NW winds. There was still no evidence of depth hoar forming near the ground in this location, YET. The new storm layer was made up of 2-6" of fluff with 6-8" of wind slab on top, which was sliding under the cornices but not propagating to the faces below.
