Weather

Skies obscured -> broken early PM (as left area). Lots of snow in trees, including aspens, but winds gusty and occasionally blowing snow BTL. Upslope (from S) on S side of valley; from NW in Yule Ck. A few snow showers early. HS measured at Marble TH

Snowpack

Many lower elevation slopes well-filled, including start zones in rock bowls near Redstone/ above ice climbs.

Avalanche

Clear evidence of only a few slides. See earlier obs for details. No crowns visible in steep, BTL slopes; debris visible in tracks of only a few of larger paths. Suspect many slopes ran mid-storm (after the first ~2+" of SWE...) and crowns and debris not apparent in poor light or mostly filled (with 2nd ~2+" SWE).
