Snowpack

Weak grains persist deep in the relatively shallow snowpack at the ground. Also, recent winds have created stiff slabs that are still susceptible to human triggers. Prior to the new snow, some surface hoar had also been observed in shadier aspects. All this points to potential weak layers once we get a heavier snow load. Results yesterday from GH9(!) were nil.
