Weather

Sunny and calm. East Aspect, south of Taylor Lake at 11,600.

Snowpack

We dug a pit on an ENE aspect at 11,500 feet approx. half mile south of Taylor Lake. Found a 75 cm deep snowpack that was generally consolidated. The top 15 cm was recent snow (fist), the middle 55 cm was surprisingly consistent at 4 finger minus with almost no discernible layers, the bottom 5 centimeters consisted of .5 cm sized facets. We performed two compression tests and an ECT and got no results except for one Compression test which failed within the faceted layer at the bottom of the pack: CT22Q3.
