WEATHER SUMMARY: Overcast all day. Temps rose to 25F at 10k and 15F at 12k. Winds eased through the day from the 40’s in the morning to teens in the afternoon from the southwest, with morning gusts in the 50’s up to 69 mph. Light snowfall tapered in the afternoon.

Snowpack

SNOWPACK: No new snow overnight. 3” (.25” SWE) fell today. HS 95” Most of yesterday’s snowfall blew away except in wind sheltered zones. Today’s 3” of new snow fell on the 3/30 dust/crust layer on high elevations or yesterdays powder at lower elevations. The crust layer was warm and soft at all elevations (thank you dust?) No signs of instability observed on steep terrain.
